A Solid NFC West Lead

Yeah! Argh!

Silly, eh? Sure, maybe I'm bored... the regular season is... almost here. I, for one, am ready for some football.

Another few notes...

1. Chad Brown is injured and is expected to be side-lined for eight weeks. Damn.

2. Isiah Kacyvenski will take his place.

3. So it goes... who said football isn't a violent sport?

Some news from nfl.com

Sure, maybe I'm lazy, but it's the preseason and I'm busy-here ya go:

Seattle head coach Mike Holmgren returned to his old stomping ground in Green Bay and came away with a victory. The Seahawks, led by fourth-string QB Seneca Wallace, defeated the Packers 21-3 in their preseason opener. With Seattle's No. 2 and 3 quarterbacks sidelined with injuries, Wallace replaced starter Matt Hasselbeck in the first quarter and took full advantage of his opportunity. He played most of the game and displayed the rifle arm and poise he has showed in practice. Wallace finished 14 of 26 for 135 yards and tossed a touchdown. "We caught lots of passes and ran a little bit," head coach Mike Holmgren said. "So we put some things together offensively."
