The Seahawks need to watch out with their free agents. A great number of the players (17 to be exact), including 9 starters, will be entering unrestricted free agent status. This list includes quarterback Matt Hasselbeck, Alex Bannister, Walter Jones, and Shaun Alexander; all participants in the 2004 Pro Bowl.
So what are the Seahawks going to do? This has created a lot of possible drama. The team needs to have some of these players to stay behind or the upcoming year will truly prove detrimental to the franchise.
In order to bring a little peace around the office, the team has brought in Mike Reinfeldt. Reinfeldt was brought back as a consultant. He has worked with the Seahawks before.
“The important thing is we've got a lot of work to do in the next 30 days, a lot of players to sign and some cap issues we need to deal with. I think that's got to be the focus of the work at hand, everybody work together. So that's where we are and that's where we'll head.”

Reinfeldt definately faces a rough spring, let's hope he's up for the challenge.
On another note...i keep reading that the we can only plausibly sign two of the "big three" (Alexander, Hasselbeck, Jones).
Unfortunately, all three benefit immensely from each other when on the field, but which two do you think should become the top priorities this offseason?
