Chad Brown Receives Ed Block Award

Chad Brown was awarded the 2004 Ed Block Courage Award. Brown received this at the 27th Annual Ed Block Courage Awards. The Courage Award is named after Ed Block, the longtime head athletic trainer of the Baltimore Colts, who was a pioneer in his profession and a respected humanitarian. Brown received this on March 8th in Baltimore.

Brown came to the Seahawks back in 1997. He received the award on the basis of displaying commitments to the principles of courage and sportsmanship, while serving as inspirations in their locker rooms and communities. The choice is made by the team of a player who has been a true inspiration in his own way to the team.

Brown is currently the fourth-leading tackler in franchise history.

Chad is perhaps the best defensive player that the hawks have. But that may be changing. The new president is making some very needed changes. #81 seems to be waking up Holmgren may not be able to protect him any more and Koren will have to perform or go cause problems some where else. I hope that some one else is wearing 37 when the season starts.
